Statue of the Sacred Heart
In October, 2024 Pope Francis issued his final encyclical which was on devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was entitled “He Loved Us – Dilexit Nos”.

In January of 2025 Pope Francis blessed 4 statues of the Sacred Heart in the company of a number of priests from Ireland who were part of the Sacred Heart Crusade. Link to the website of the Sacred Heart Crusade at the bottom of this post.
At a ceremony in Knock in early February the 4 Archbishops blessed the statues and they then went forward to each of the four provinces to be available in parishes of the province.

The diocese of Killaloe is privileged to host the statue for the Munster province from the following dates.
